Ebook, a short description

The development of electronic media has given many advantages to many societies in the world. A college student can easily bring many textbook or many documents to campus. Comparing to the last few decades, a college student was always figure out with someone who brings many books. Now, the document and the textbook can be put into his laptop. He can bring many textbook or many documents, so he can easily do his assignment anywhere, they can do it the class, in the canteen, or in the college park.
Something that popular today among digital society is e book. E book stands for electric book. This electric text has the same function as a paper printed book. But they are different in the media they are written. Early in the e book era, e book is only used by some society with limited topic. The E book was usually a technical manual of hardware.  Now e books have been worldwide. It seems that almost every digital society use e books as reading sources.
As a media that has the same function as a printed book, ebooks need a device for read it. This electric text is only read by using a personal computers or laptop. But now there are many special device, that is called e book reader device.
This new gadget make the ebook readers read the text easily. They do not have to sit in front of the pc or open their laptops. They can turn the page easily by push a button gently, even it is more easily than turning a book page.  They can bring this device every where, since its size is small. They can put it in their pocket. It is thinner than a book. They can bring this reading device everywhere because its long durability battery. And it can also connect to internet and they can download new ebooks or new novel written in e book form. But something that people is still consider about buying ebook reader is its price.
The fast development of e books is supported by major software company and some independent organization. A lot of topics have been written in e books, and many authors publish their writing in e books form. Even some classic books and some literature are also converted into e books. Some school also use e books for their student. E book can make the student interested in the lesson, some picture in the e book can move, and if the lesson is about introducing a step of something the e book can make some moving picture, of course the student will more interest to the lesson.
From a lot things that make ebook have many advantages or disadventages. The invention of ebook also help us saving our earth. At least consumption on the paper for printing books will decrease, and if digital society maximalized the used of it it can reduce the number of tree cutting.
